TUCSON AREA AUTUMNAL HAMFEST
We do not reserve any spaces except for the breakfast area, ARRL, and ARCA. The rest of the spaces are first come, first serve. What you do is just arrive on the scene around 6:00 AM and pick out your spot(s) under the solar panels on the east side of the Calvary Tucson parking lot. Some tail-gaters start coming in as early as 5:30.
Around 8:00 AM one of the RST volunteers will stop by your area and collect $10 for each space you are using. If you park a truck or a car under the canopy and take up two spaces, that counts as $20.
Now, if you are coming in an RV or camper of some kind, you may come in on Friday afternoon after 4:30 PM and stay overnight. In that case I will need the license number of the vehicle. Calvary Tucson is used as a resting point for the Tucson PD, and if they see a strange vehicle in the parking lot, they might knock on your door at 2 AM . . . not nice. So we tell them first.
