🎄🎅🎁 It’s that time of year again…
The RST Christmas Party is coming to town!
📅 Tuesday, December 9th
📍 El Corral on River Road — same cozy room as last year, full of cheer and sizzling steak.

Bruce WA1BZQ is channeling his inner Santa and making a list (yes, checking it twice).
🎟️ Space is limited, so don’t wait — send your RSVP to: BBetterley@msn.com

Whether you’ve been naughty, nice, or somewhere in between, come celebrate with good food, great company, and a sleighful of ham radio holiday spirit!

✨ Reserve early — the elves are watching.

To join the exchange activity, please bring a gift (minimum value $20). Participation is optional.

Our Master of Ceremonies, Jason, will be flanked by his trusty sidekicks: Ana and Marcia—keepers of giggles, glitter, and questionable timing. Together, they promise mild chaos and maximum charm.

Gift Exchange Rules

  • Participation: Attendees who want to participate will leave their gift on the table and be given a number.
  • Gift Wrapping: Gifts must be wrapped, bagged, or otherwise concealed until chosen.
  • One Gift Per Person: Each participant provides one gift. If a gift has multiple pieces, package them together as one.
  • Turn Order: The emcee will draw numbers at random to determine turn order.
  • Player Options: On their turn, a player may either:
    • Pick a new gift from the table, or
    • Steal a gift from another player.
  • Stealing Rules:
    • A gift can only be stolen once per turn.
    • A gift can only be stolen three times total. After the third steal, it is locked and cannot be stolen again.
    • After the third steal in a turn, the player stolen from must choose a gift from the table.
  • Endgame Swap: At the end of the game, the first player may swap their gift once with any unlocked gift (a gift that hasn’t already been stolen three times). A gift that’s swapped becomes locked. The person swapped with may then swap once, and so on, until someone chooses to keep their gift, or until no more unlocked gifts remain.
  • No Mid-Game Trading: No swapping or trading during the game. After the game ends, players may trade freely.
  • Gift Value: Each gift must be worth at least $20.
