“The Southern Arizona Rescue Association (SARA) has been providing all-volunteer search and rescue assets to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department since 1958. This presentation will provide a brief history of the organization, an overview of how search and rescue activities are conducted in Pima County, what communications assets are used, and a few reminders about being outside in Southern Arizona, particularly in the summer.”
