The RST weekly “New Ham Net” offers a welcoming and supportive environment for both new and seasoned ham operators to get on the air.  Whether you’re just starting or have years of experience, you can join us. Our discussions cover operating procedures, radio etiquette, and various topics of interest to new ham operators.

CTCSS Tone: 110.9 Hz on input

REMINDERS: N7HND repeater, 147.000 output, 147.600 input, 110.9 Hz CTCSS tone.  For real beginners, you transmit on 147.600 MHz and receive on 147.000 MHz.  Be sure to program in the 110.9 Hertz tone.  You are on a repeater, not simplex.
