How I Spent My Summer Vacation
(or Parks On The Air Across The Continent)

It’s a bit of a travelogue but mainly focused on radio on the road. I traveled with a small travel trailer, partly accompanied by my wife, for 99 days, about 10k miles, activated 27 POTA locations, and made almost 4000 contacts. Included in this was a solo Field Day in Dixie National Forest, 500+ Qs, CW only. Virtually all of it was solar-charged battery operation.  I’ll talk about the radio setup, how POTA works, why POTA is interesting, etc. What I planned that worked out, what I’d do differently next time. – Bill, N7DZ
