Day in the Park Summary – July 26
Well, even with the heat, it was “cool” to get on the air with Dennis, AG7WF, and Tom, KR6S. Using Dennis’ IC-705 and Ken’s “Big Ears”, Dennis and Ken made contact with a POTA station, N9WPY at park K-1032 in Illinois. It was a first contact for the radio and Dennis. Congratulations Dennis!
